blasts that happened in Tianjin
While the government said the chemicals would be neutralized before the first rainfall, sites like there were seen all over the area after it rained. I don't know if this weird foam is actually dangerous or if it could be a by product of the toxins being neutralized and then getting wet (I'm really not a chemist, and I can't seem to find solid info on what is causing it) but it seems really dangerous and like something people should not be around.
I did read that there was ammonium nitrate and sodium cyanide there, which could have somehow turned into acids, or in the case of sodium cyanide it combined with water could great hydrogen cyanide gas....which is what is used in some gas chambers.
Basically, I really hope this shit was neutralized because even with a low toxicity, this would be really harmful to people in the future as well if its not taken care of. I really hope for the sake of everyone in Tianjin and surrounding areas that it is taken care of.
