While there are plenty of great stories in hip-hop, one of the best coming of age stories is that of West Coast legend Snoop Dogg.
The former Death Row Records rep has come a long way with his sound and brand. Once one of the most feared emcees in rap, the Compton native is know viewed as a guide for many great young artists due to his work in and out of music.
Today, Uncle Snoop displays his range with by unveiled a new joint venture, Merry Jane, at TechCrunch Disrupt yesterday in San Francisco.
According to The Guardian, the site will launch in October and initially cater to just 420 users. It will be a one-stop shop for all things weed based. Merry Jane also plans to unleash a video series titled “Deflowered” that interviews entrepreneurs in marijuana-related fields. (catch a link to the video above.)

This could be a game changing platform enjoyed by people from all walks of life if pushed properly.
