If you're planning on doing some heavy lifting -- jumping in front of the barbell with no warm is not the way to go. You want to make sure that your body is prepared. So, you're probably thinking that a 5 minute jog is the way to go, eh not really. A shitty warm-up can really do a number on your body, and also hinder your ability to perform your best.
