Recently on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Matt Damon was a guest promoting his latest movie The Martian (which will be in theaters tomorrow if you're in the United States). But there's something Corden loves doing with his guests and it's acting out their roles from numerous films throughout their career in a short amount of time -- he's previously done this with Tom Hanks and Arnold Schwarzenegger -- and it looks like Damon was the next one in line for this game.
I think the main draw here -- for me at least -- is that it really acts on this feeling of nostalgia. I've watched a lot of movies throughout my life and when I see videos like the one above it makes me feel a strange sort of happiness.
It's fun to see actors having fun with movies they were previously in. I don't know why this was my initial reaction to watching the (actually funny) video above but I found myself getting a little misty. I don't know if I'm just an emotional man or an emotional baby boy but I really enjoyed watching it.
The way he sort of makes fun of Adjustment Bureau was probably the best bit in the video. I remember watching that movie a couple times with family and, well, I don't know, it's not that I didn't understand the movie, I just didn't understand why it was made.
