And now, you can make your own!
Once you've made your sweet rice dough by following the steps above, it's time to make mochi ice cream!
Freeze individual scoops of your favorite ice cream in a lined cupcake tray until solid. Then, follow the instructions in the second part of the video below (skip ahead to 3:13 for mochi ice cream instructions.
It's a slightly involved process, but it's guaranteed to make much prettier, more evenly-shaped mochi than other techniques. :)
