I'm certainly hoping that the fate is not the same.

The Sox came fighting back and managed to turn the series around and win it 4-3. It was the only time in MLB history that a team down 3-0 has come back to win a 7-game series.
So what's the connection between '04 and this year?

Both teams are trying to reverse a curse that has plagued the franchise for more than 90 years.
No, I really, really don't think the Cubs are going to come back from 3-0 down to win this series.
Maybe that's my fandom talking, but I just don't see it happening.
However, the links are kind of scary. They make me a little nervous... we've seen weird trends in sports come true more than once before.
