Can anyone stop this man??
The England and Leicester City striker set an EPL record late on Saturday by scoring in his ELEVENTH consecutive Premier League match.
He broke the record previously held by striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, who set it twelve seasons ago.
It's a remarkable record for a remarkable player. Vardy has proven time and time again this season that his goalscoring streak is no fluke, as he works incredibly hard and constantly pressures defenders into mistakes. His goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United was a great counter attack, set up by wing back Christian Fuchs.
No, the above is no joke.
Vardy's rise has been meteoric, as he came from absolutely nowhere to chip in with the occasional goal as Leicester avoided relegation last season.
He was mired in controversy over the summer along with some other members of Leicester's squad, which led me to predict that Leicester would be relegated this time around.
Boy, was I wrong.
While I still would be very surprised if Leicester won the league, it seems like a top 4 finish - or at least a Europa League spot - is well within reach.
That means they can focus all of their energies to matches on Saturdays without worrying about midweek traveling and tiresome matches
Congratulations to Vardy on setting an amazing record! Did anyone see the match? What do you think of Leicester's chances?
