Body Positivity From One Of The Most Unexpected Sources

Jim Morrison was one of those guys: charismatic, enigmatic, devil-may-care and talented as hell. Someone you'd imagine in a dream. He was a rock star unlike any other, retro, fabulous and perceived to be completely insane. But underneath that rock and roll persona is someone who actually made a lot of sense.

Volumes have been written about this man's weirdness. But I challenge you to call him anything but logical when it comes to the idea of being "fat".

"It's terrible to be thin and wispy, because you could get knocked over by a strong wind or something. Fat is beautiful."

This was awesome, because no matter who you are, how you look or how people perceive you, you can still surprise them.

Who would expect rock god, the Lizard king himself to advocate for the validity of body positivity? Most rock stars have the reputation of being thin, and wispy as Morrison suggested, but what could change if we were to have a truly iconic, fuller figured rock star? I'm not sure, but I think things could be pretty awesome.
