Monday Motivation: Do Something Outside

When we think about being fit and healthy, we usually think about a 30-minute run on a treadmill, followed with some weight training. But our health should be much more than just getting our bodies moving for an hour in an enclosed space.

This Saturday I was taken for a mild hike/walk and the scene was unbelievable. Just being able to surround myself with the gorgeous salt waters, tall landscapes, and the waves of different trees -- I felt incredibly lucky.

I think it's so important to really enjoy the earth we live on.

Do you prefer to be outdoors?

I like cheeseburgers and cheap wine.
