During the holidays, many Latin American countries celebrate it with the main event: a whole roasted pig. It usually twirls around on a spit, sizzling over a dancing flame. But Latin Americans aren't the only ones who loves a nice roasted pig. The Phillipines holds an event called The Parade of the Lechon. The Loma district is known for having pig roasting on every street corner.
Though, this celebration is not celebrated during the winter months. Its actually held during the summer every year on June 24th.
The pigs are then dressed up in funny outfits!
