I know. I know. I said I was going to play some of that sweet Chrono Trigger but I had decided against it. Only because I got an iTunes gift card for Christmas and FF7 was on sale. It's one of the very first games I've played on my own. And I used to watch my older cousin and brother play and beat it over and over again. It definitely holds a special place in my heart and I decided to work through this instead of Chrono Trigger.

I'm still pretty early on in the game, I'm trying to play it as much as I can before bed and on the train to and from work so there'll be constant updates. But I have noticed how fun it is to play on my phone. I never thought that I'd have a fun experience playing a game on my phone that wasn't something simple and I'm pleasantly surprised by this. The buttons don't really get in the way and everything feels very intuitive. It's definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I also noticed that Cloud is, well, kind of a dick. I guess I remembered him with such fondness I forgot that he starts out as a total loner/cynic. He doesn't care too much about the people around him and it's kind of awesome. I can't believe I forgot so much about this game (in terms of characterization) and I think I'm more excited for playing through all these moments again and seeing them under a more adult lens.

I will say, though, it's too be pretty hard to play through this game because my phone is so cracked it's constantly losing pieces of glass from the touch screen. I'll try to update and play as much as can even though my thumbs are constantly being cut up as I play. I don't mind it as much though since I'm real excited for the game. If y'all want, you should start a gofundme page so I can get a replacement screen. I also accept wire transfers if you'd rather do that. Please remember every cent you donate to me goes directly into my gaming fund.

i did all that i could.
