First African-America in K-Pop Band!

She is so beautiful in her own way.

Her name is Alexandra Reid. She is a rapper. She born in March 5, 1994 She is 21years old. (Soon to be 22 this March..) Her mom is African and her father is American. (Sorry, I tried to find more information about her but there is only few because she just joined few months ago.)

I just read Sunday Rant about diversity in Korean bands. Mostly, Chinese people (Luhan, Tao, Victoria, and more) joined Korean band. The people didn't think that they are in diversity just like Alex Reid. They viewed them like Asian. But Asian people don't view them like that. Because they are not Korean. When African-American Alex joined RaNia. People made celebration that she is first African-America. But actually, it was not. There have many people before her. Some people, joined Korean bands, are Japanese, Chinese, American, Taiwanese, Korean-Indian(Punita Bajaj), French, Thai, and Caucasian-Korean. Some people wondered why don't they labeled as diversity just like Alex did. Some people were happy that Non-Korean people join Kpop culture. Some people were not happy because they assumed that Non-Korean people because they would ruin their culture. (Not sure)
