DIY tissue paper rose wreath

It All Started With Paint

For this project, you will need:

-- Red tissue paper

-- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks

-- Cardstock or newspaper

-- Scissors

-- Red paint

-- Paintbrush

You can find all of these items at a craft store.

Cut the tissue paper

Use the scissors to cut the tissue paper into 3"-inch strips. You will need a lot so have fun and cut away.

Crinkle and fold

Take the pieces of tissue paper and crinkle them up to give them texture. Then, fold the tissue pieces in half, as shown in the picture above.

Roll and glue

Take the folded piece of tissue paper and roll them, as shown in the picture. Add dabs of hot glue as you roll.

Repeat these previous steps to make a whole lot of tissue paper roses.

Cut out a heart

Use the scissors and cut out a heart outline from cardstock or newspaper. Then, use the paintbrush to paint it completely red.

Glue on the tissue paper roses

Take the hot-glue gun and glue on the tissue paper roses all over the red heart outline, as shown in the picture above.

Hang up your tissue paper rose wreath in your living space and enjoy!
