The vocals are INSANE.
If you haven't heard of Voctave, you're truly missing out. They are known for posting incredible acapella covers of our favorite old classics and disney movie hits. They are the epitome of ideal classical singing and it's absolutely gorgeous. In their most successful and recent video, they performed the "Disney Love Medley" starring Pentatonix member Kirstin Maldonado and her equally talented boyfriend, Jeremy Michael Lewis. The two singing together is as adorable as their relationship.
In the medley, the following songs are featured: "I See the Light" from Tangled, "You'll Be In My Heart" from Tarzan and "Go the Distance" from Hercules. The song was arranged by Jamey Ray and directed by Doug Jackson. This is truly a masterpiece and its 2.6M views are there to prove it. When you combine a group of singers equally talented individually, they can make for some really beautiful music together.
Personally, the first soprano is giving me life. But I also believe that Maldonado and Lewis have perfect disney style voices that really compliment one another. I also appreciate that the medley is only three songs instead of jamming six or more songs together which can result in a very choppy product. 4:04 is the most beautiful harmony intersection but can we please milk 4:48's note forever. JUST AWESOME.
