Ingredients
For this dish, you will need:
-- 2 cups or 12 ounces uncooked or frozen broccoli
-- 1 large egg
-- ¼ cup diced yellow onion
-- ⅓ cup cheddar cheese
-- ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
-- ⅓ cup italian breadcrumbs
-- 2 tablespoons parsley
-- ½ teaspoon salt
-- ½ teaspoon pepper
-- A baking sheet
-- Olive oil or parchment paper (to grease the baking sheet)

Combine ingredients
Before you start making the broccoli tater tots, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, grease the baking sheet. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for one minute. Then, run cold tap water over the broccoli to stop the cooking process. Cut the broccoli into small pieces and combine with the egg, onions, cheddar, breadcrumbs, and seasoning. Scoop a small amount of the mixture and form into a tater tot shape and place on the baking sheet. Continue making tater tots until the entire mixture is gone. Bake for 18-24 minutes in the oven — make sure to turn the tater tots halfway through.
