Jason Kipnis: Best Value At 2nd Base In Fantasy Baseball

Hey guys! Here with more fantasy baseball news to help everyone get ready for their upcoming drafts.

On paper, it looks like the AL Central may be one of the best divisions in baseball this year. The Royals, White Sox and Tigers made a lot of improvements this offseason.

Another team with a fair amount of talent is the Cleveland Indians. One of the better players in baseball that no one is talking about at the moment is Jason Kipnis.

The 2nd base position is one of the thinnest in fantasy, which gives Kipnis added value.

Last year, Kipnis hit 309 with 9 homeruns and 50 RBI. He also scored 86 runs, which is very good for his position. Two years ago, he also stole 30 stolen bases, which shows he has solid speed and power for his position.

Right now, Kipnis is ranked at 74 on ESPN. For GMs who miss out on an elite 2nd baseman in the early parts of the draft, Kipnis is your guy. If he can steal bases at a high level again while maintaining his solid average, he will easily surpass his 74 overall ranking for sure.

What do you think? Is Jason Kipnis a good fantasy player flying below the radar?
