Hey guys! In celebration of the upcoming NFL draft, I will begin crafting NFL Mock Draft cards for the first round.
This will basically simulate who I think each team will take in the 1st round and why.
With the 3rd pick overall, we have the San Diego Chargers.

With the 3rd overall pick, the San Diego Chargers pick: Myles Jack, linebacker, UCLA.
Why this pick makes sense: The NFL has become a passing league, dominated by smart quarterbacks and ultra athletic offensive weapons. Speed and the ability to rush the pass is pivotal to the success of any team in the NFL.
The Chargers run a 3-4, and had one of the weakest pass rushes in the NFL last year. This put entirely too much pressure on the secondary in coverage. Myles Jack can be a game changer for this team. In college, he played running back and linebacker, so he clearly possesses top notch speed and conditioning. He can cover running backs and tight ends with ease, as well as rush the passer. The Chargers have one star lineback in Manti T'eo, and Jack could be the second piece in what could become an exceptional linebacker core.
The Chargers need a player that can come in an contribute instantly, Myles Jack is that guy.
