Cuba Evolution - Joakim Eskildsen

To me, Joakim Eskilden, a Danish photographer, is not only a photographer, but also a traveler, a story teller, a society professor who would be able to point out what happened within any society he traveled to. He previously photographed a large portfolio for TIME on the state of poverty in America, traveled to Cuba for ten days, photographing urban housing projects in Havana an rural settlements across the countryside. He photographed tobacco plantations, roadside, fruit vendors, migrant workers, and beachfront resorts - capturing all in the vibrant saturation of medium-format color film.
