Are The Spurs In Trouble?

After the Spurs dominated game one, everyone counted the Thunder out.

OKC responded to the challenge by pulling out a 98-97 victory on the road. The Spurs seemed out of whack offensively and their defense had numerous break downs.

Heading to OKC for two away games with the series tied 1-1, are the Spurs in trouble?

The Thunder clearly made adjustments defensively in game two.

They closed out on the shooters better, forcing the Spurs to shoot 26% from behind the arc. The Thunder also kept Parker and Duncan at bay, as the dynamic duo only combined for 9 points.

On the offensive end, OKC was electric. Westbrook dominated the game, with 29 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds. The Thunder frontcourt gave 40 to Lamarcus but played better offensively. This was the true difference in the game. Steven Adams had 12 points and 17 rebounds.

All the Thunder needed to do was split in San Antonio and they did. They are not heading home with the chance to take a 3-1 lead in the series.
