Eyewear: I Don't Pop Molly, I Rock Tom Ford
It so happens that the week I get my new pair of glasses in the mail, Jay Z releases his Magna Carta Holy Grail Album (which I am loving) with a track titled Tom Ford. So play the music and read all about these amazing glasses by Tom Ford! So turn the light off, turn the music up and get in the zone.
Tom Ford started his own brand in 2004. Ever since his brand Tom Ford launched, it was known only as a high end luxurious brand. Tom Ford glasses have an effortless elegance and style that represents a timeless look. His eyeglasses are all made in Italy, I personally like his acetate styles, its starting to become my signature look.
For a little bit over a year and half, I've been using the Tom Ford TF5178 "Single Man" glasses as my daily optical. I've always got compliments on it and the T's on the side of the glasses give it away that its Tom Ford, so many compliment me just on the brand itself.
After using my single pair for quite some time now, I realized I needed to get a new pair. Thanks to a great vender I found, I was able to get the pair I've been hunting for at a very good price and in the rare color, black (surprisingly for this model). The model is the Tom Ford TF 5240.
Black acetate frames have been on the rise in men's fashion. Dolce & Gabbana had a show where I think almost every model was wearing a black acetate frame on the runway. Black acetate frames are a really good way to go to give your look a very appealing geeky and articulate but sexy look. Try it out. You can check out Tom Ford's frame collection HERE!
TIP OF THE DAY: If you don't need prescriptions, don't just pop the default lenses out and wear the frames without any lenses, at least ask the optometrist to put in non-prescribed lenses. This tip will be a big help to you in the future in making yourself not look non-gentleman!
