I don't shop when I travel, so I prefer to keep my luggage light. Sometimes I might even skip the luggage and just bring a carry on bag. Before traveling abroad I got a black duffle bag that includes handle for easy transport. I served me well for the past two years and it's finally wearing out. I'm looking for a replacement and found a couple of design that past my quality check.
1. The Catalina Bag by Lo and Sons
It's made from a soft and sturdy canvas. Gray one is my favorite but they have 7 other colors to choose from. What caught my attention is the lower compartment separated by the zipper. You can open it and store items like scarves shoes to help keep the bag balance. The space between the handle and the tote is perfect. Not to wide and not to narrow, so the straps won't slip off while carrying it (bags that slips off annoys me).
2. Le Sud Overnight Bag by Cuyana
It's basically a large duffle bag composed of canvas and leather. Overall, the product is well crafted and the tassel detail adds a sophisticated and modern touch for jetsetters. The bag can be used for a short getaway and business travels. It's also roomy enough to pack the basics and still have room for an extra tee.
3. Weekend Bag - Baggu
When it comes to quality and price, Baggu is the winner. Their design is quirky, modern and practical. There are two sets of handle to transition from in-hand carrying to over the shoulder toting. The exterior pocket is just the perfect spot to hang your loose items such as sunglasses or mini hand sanitizer, or pen.
