She sat up.
Letting what she just heard and what she just witnessed sink in.
Wow, she said. She laid back down.
She laid there in the dark watching and waiting. She had seen two other things happen and it made her wonder what else had gone on in this room this whole time.
It was time.
The crowd was cheering louder than before and then it got quiet. That's when she heard footsteps rushing down the hall, nearly running. Before she knew it, she heard someone breathing heavily come through the door.
"Are you here?"
She jumped up off the couch. He turned to her, then he slammed the door shut, locking it behind him. She didn't know if it was just her imagination but he seem to instantly come across the room, as if the wind had carried him. Before she could question it, they were kissing and lying back on the couch. He only let go briefly to take his jacket off.
"I don't know if we'll have time..." she barely said before he engaged her mouth again.
"We will" he plainly stated, "believe me, we will." His hands were all over her, she couldn't hold herself back anymore. She unbuttoned his pants, pushing them down past his hips. He was whispering and moaning in her ear, 'yes, yes' over and over as she started to stroke him. He quickly unbuttoned her pants and pulled them down. They gazed into each other's eyes as he slid into her. Her nails dug into his skin, then down his back to his hips, pulling him deeper into her. He loved how that felt, he started thrusting slowly but deep. He wanted to make it last, he wanted to make her feel good. She shook one pant leg off, freeing herself to wrap her legs around him. Grinding her hips against his, moving with him, listening to him breathe and moan next to her ear.
She was still unsure if this was real or if she was still asleep and dreaming this was happening. She had fantasized about this moment ever since she first met him. And if this was all that was going to happen between them, she was going walk away with no regrets.
And then it happen.
Someone was banging on the door, calling his name. The door knob jiggled and then more banging, and his name again.
He stopped. Cursed for a second and then slowly lifted himself up.
"You gotta be kidding me." he said pulling his pants. He watched her scramble pulling her pants back on and running for the bathroom.
He checked himself, straightening his clothes before opening the door. He swung it open. It was his manager and someone from wardrobe was carrying his outfit for the last set.
"Why did you leave?" his manager asked looking around the room.
The wardrobe assistant handed him the clothes, "Here, get your outfit on."
He snatched them and threw them over a chair. "Can I get dressed by myself?" he asked as he started to pull his clothes off.
His manager glanced around the room and then to the bathroom. "Hurry." was all he said.
When his manager left, he closed the door. He went over to bathroom and knocked. She came out, pulling her hair up into a ponytail. As soon as she came out, he grabbed her and started apologizing to her.
"I'm sorry." he said holding her. He buried his face into her neck.
"For what?" she asked putting her arms around him, "We can finish this some other time. Better get dressed before they come looking for you again. Let me help."
She turned him around and sorted the clothes out. He quickly took off his clothes, he stood in front of her with just his underwear on. She admired him for a moment before pulling his top over his head.
"Where are you staying tonight?" he asked.
She smiled, chuckling a little bit, "Probably at my apartment. Why? You want to come over?" She stepped back, studying him for a minute, debating, "I have to tell you something..."
"I know," he stopped her, "You're leaving for Japan tomorrow." When he was done dressing, he pulled her into his arms, his head leaning down on hers.
"Is that why you finally did all this?" she asked.
"Yes. I wanted to make sure you know that I will be waiting for you when you come back." he said hugging her tightly.
"Ah.... so... this isn't a game?" she asked all of a sudden.
His arms dropped. His head went back in disbelief, "Who told you about that?"
"I heard it..." she managed to say before someone was banging on the door again.
He pushed her up against the back of the door and started kissing her deeply, he reached for the door knob, he looked at her one last time, biting his lip, and in a very serious and adult tone, he said, "No games. This was real." He opened the door and left.
She walked out to the backstage. She watched them begin their showcase. Her boss came up from behind.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
She was about to say yes when she heard someone make a comment about the dressing room door being locked. She thought about what was said, what he said, he'll be waiting for her when she gets back, then she remembered what her boss said earlier about the company not caring about anything that goes on here as long as it don't go beyond this point. Could she really hurt his feelings like that? she asked herself.
"No. I think I'm going to go." she said watching the monitor, "I think it's for the best... It might be something contagious. I don't want to take that risk of getting anyone else sick."
Her boss nodded. "Well have a good trip, hope you're feeling better by the time you leave. Flying while your sick is not a good combination."
"I'll buy some medicine on the way home." She turned, put her hand out to her boss, "Thanks for getting me this job and the Japan gig."
He shook her hand, "Sure thing. See you when you get back."
They bowed to one another.
She looked at the monitor for the last time and seen him dancing hard. He seemed really alive, he looked so damn good.
He's going to be so mad, she thought, I hope he understands.
24 Hours Later:
She was sitting in her seat, relaxed, on her way to her next adventure. She tried not to think about the night before, much less the last two weeks. But it wasn't happening. She pulled a magazine out and there on the front cover was the nine... He was standing there looking beautiful as ever. She threw that magazine away. She tried to listen to some music but the second she put the headphones on, they were singing, the song was playing right at His part.
Her phone started beeping.
It was a text from a number she didn't know. She laughed out loud when she read the text.
"When you return, we have some unfinished business to finish"
She didn't text back, she wasn't sure who this could be and in a way, an odd mysterious way, she didn't want to know.
She'll find out when she gets back.
Thanks for reading it to the end. I know it seems it ended abruptly but believe me, its going to lead to another story. A much darker storyline between these two. This story, like i said in the beginning, was a wave. It came to me in this way. So this is a raw story. No drafts, it's not written any where else.
Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate it, it was encouraging. But I think i would have just kept writing it whether anyone was reading it or even liking it, lol.
If you want to be tagged in the next story, let me know. Again, Thank You So Much!!!!
