Korean Summer Tradition: 치맥

A really popular summer activity in Korea is to go to the local park and order chicken and beer to be delivered!

It's called "치맥'

(chi-maek)

치 - 치킨 (Chicken)

맥 - 맥주 (Beer)

치맥 = Chicken & Beer!

Korea is really proud of its fried chicken which is double fried aka double-y unhealthy for you but hey, yolo right?

Since I don't eat chicken or drink beer (boo carbonation ㅠㅠ) I don't actually partake in 치맥 but I love the pickled radish (단무지) that comes with the chicken :D
