Here's how to love yourself, according to WikiHow.

1. Appreciate You

I think the sentiment that "you need to love yourself before anyone loves you" is totally wrong, but loving yourself is a huge step towards happiness, feeling fulfilled, and being at peace with yourself and your situation. Reflect on all the good you've done, and accept and learn from any mistakes you've made.

2. Care About Yourself Just As Much As Others

Constantly making sure that those around you are happy is tiring, be sure you're caring for yourself as well. Its not selfish to love and car for your own well being, its responsible and those around you should accept and encourage that.

3. Give Gratitude

Being grateful is beneficial to the giver and the receiver. Be grateful for what you've been given, your skills, your abilities. Then take it one step further and use what you're grateful for to improve someone else's live.

4. Have a Good Attitude

Positivity goes a long way. If you look at a problem from a positive point of view, so many more solutions appear than if you're looking from a negative point of view. Also, people tend to gravitate towards positive people!

5. Engage in Things That Make You Happy

Being happy is part of showing love to yourself. Create a state of happiness by doing things that make you feel good. Do things that make your body, mind, emotions, and spirit feel good. Happiness largely depends on putting in the effort to make your life more positive

6. Have Alone Time

While its great to feel surrounded by love and friends, being alone with yourself is crucial for a healthy and happy mind. Reflect on your day, listen to your body, and give yourself the rest you didn't know you needed!

7. Accept That You're Whole Without a Partner

Some people believe that happiness and love can only be experienced through a relationship, or that a bad relationship is still better than no relationship at all. Staying in a relationship that does not work does not respect you or your partner. Solitude is different than being lonely, and it is not worth succumbing to social pressure to fit in or feel complete.
