Sick and tired of hearing everyone talk about Pokemon Go?
Don't worry. There's an app for that.
PokeGone is a new Google Chrome extension that will block any and all mentions of anything related to Pokemon from your daily Internet routine. No more Pikachu on Facebook, Tumblr, and Pinterest. No more clickbait on any other site you visit either!
Like some of you, software developer Jamie Farrelly was totally over the Pokemon Go trend the moment the app even launched:
"Sick and tired of hearing about Pokemon? PokeGone will take care of that! This extension will stop your eyes from seeing grown adults raving on about Pokemon. Remove all traces of Pokemon from the internet with one simple extension!"
Personally, I can go either way on this argument, but I've got to say the "Gotta block 'em all!" tagline is easily the icing on the marketing cake.
What do you guys think? Is the Pokemon Go trend going too far, or should people just be allowed to enjoy the game in peace?
