Introduction to~ The Face Shop!

Ah yes, hello everyone!@Sailynn here once again to bring you basic beauty information for everyone interested in Korean beauty products or just skincare in general!^^

Before we go on, I want to highly recommend everyone to check out my first card on how to determine what type of skin you have, that way this card will be easier to understand and you can use it as guide! :D

Basics to SkinCare! Determining Your Skin Type!

If you know what kind of skin you have, then let's get started!

Brief History Lesson~

The Face Shop was founded in 2003 by the LG Cooperation, directed to both the men and women audience- focusing on nature based ingredients to expand skin care products across Korea, and later on, the rest of the world.

With 2,900+ stores in 29 countries around the world, stores continue to successfully pop up all over, especially in locations where the demand for skin care products are high.

In 2007, The Face Shop opened its first store on American soil- in the San Francisco Bay Area, which I have had the honor of visiting earlier this month. With a wonderfully launch, soon came many more stores across Northern and Southern California, then, the Eastern coast and so on.

Idol and Actor, Kim Hyung Joong, who is currently away for military service, has been the primary model for The Face Shop, on which other Kpop Idols and Actors have joined the party. Idols such as missA's Suzy, SNSD's Seohyun, and recently, actor Kim Soo Hyun.

The Face Shop products have continued to stay in the top charts for skin care and beauty all across the globe and will be soon celebrating its 13th birthday this December.

The first thing you'll automatically notice is, "Holy cow, it's so bright in here!"

Well that's because they have their lighting adjusted so you can see exactly how well a product looks on your skin when you apply the testers!^^

Final Thoughts~

It's a lot. Trust me, I know it's a lot. ><

But when you look at non-idol Koreans, their skin is still incredibly amazing and a lot of it comes from a) skin care products, and b) just taking care of their skin in general by eating right and staying hydrated.

Anyone can have beautiful skin!

Except, us Kpoppers have an advantage above everyone else...... Korean skin care products! ;D

Thank you everyone!

This has been another Basics to SkinCare card by yours truly,@Sailynn!^^

I know Nana wants to make sure you guys stay on top of the KBeauty industry but I'm here to help by teaching everyone the basics in case you're interested but don't know where to start! :D

I hope to see everyone again!

Thank you!^^ <3
