The Honda HR-V belongs to subcompact crossover SUV class. The name HR-V stands for Hi-rider Revolutionary Vehicle. Honda Motor Company started producing the first generation of HR-V model in 1998. The first generation was based on Honda Logo, and it was on the market until 2006. The second generation HR-V is based on third-generation Honda Fit, and it mostly resembles the JDM Vezel. The most significant competitors are Mazda CX-3 and Nissan Juke, and now this Japanese manufacturer has a chance to overcome them with new 2019 Honda HR-V model.
By looking at the front bumper of the HR-V, it can be noticed that it has strict lines of the body, a slight gap in the grille below and of course headlights and fog lights. Profile view of exterior shows us wheel arches which can embed 17-inch alloy wheels with five spokes.
All of this gives an extra elegance overall look of new HR-V model. Those narrowed rear windows that hold the back door handles are the complement to the final look. With those, the vehicle’s side silhouette looks stunning. The rear end has small roof spoiler, very simple rear bumper and of course rear lights with LEDs.
