A Launch Seen From The Boosters

These boosters use so much fuel they lose 10,000 pounds each every second of flight. They release from the aircraft once they reach 28 miles, but because they have so much momentum they continue upwards for about another 15 miles before falling back to earth to be retrieved. This is a really cool view. You can really see what its like for a spacecraft to get up to 3000 miles per hour.
