Nnamdi Asomugha has announced his plans to sign a one-day contract with his former Oakland Raiders to retire as part of their organization. Previously hailed as one of the league's "shutdown" corners (he nabbed the title before Revis unseated him in '09) Asomugha left the Raiders in 2011 to join the Eagle's then "Dream Team." We all know how that turned out. This season, he was signed by the 49ers, until being outplayed for his starting spot. Realizing his age has caught up with him, Asomugha will walk away as part of the Oakland Raider organization.
