Hello fam! Food plays a huge role in proper self care. What you put in your body will effect how your body functions, your health, and how you feel about yourself. Well what about sweets? If you can have them in your diet it is good with moderation. If you have any nutrition concerns I suggest speaking to a doctor.
Vegan and Vegetarian Meals
A amiga of mine has made her full transition to being a vegan. She is now helping others by creating vegan and vegetarian meals. I wanted to try them out for 7 days. I had lunch and dinner made by her. The portion sizes were big so I just cut them in half. I would eat the other half for breakfast. I had my two to three snacks in-between which were fruit and veggies and or nuts.
These are meatless ranch meat balls and they were SO GOOD!!!
After eating like this I did feel better inside and out. Others who didn't know what I was doing said they seen a glow in my skin. I had more energy and was never hungry. I noticed positive internal changes in my body.
Remember what you eat and how you eat is also part of self care. You shouldn't be overly hard on yourself but you should strive to be the best and healthiest you can be.
