Troubleshoot Netgear Genie keep on appearing even after Netgear extender setup:
If the issue still persists, reset your Netgear extender back to its default factory settings.
To reset your Netgear WiFi range extender:
Power on your Netgear extender. Disconnect your Netgear extender from your main router and other connected devices. Take a paper clip or pin and insert it into the reset hole of your WiFi range extender carefully. Hold and release the Netgear extender's reset hole. Your Netgear extender reset successfully.
For Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10, 11 (Windows)
Navigate to the Tools menu. Select “Delete Browsing History” option. Check all boxes (excluding passwords). Click on “Delete”.
For Google Chrome (Windows and Mac)
Mozilla Firefox version 26.0 (Windows and Mac)
Go to the History menu. Select “Clear Recent History” option.
Apple Safari (Windows)
Expand the Cog Icon in the upper-right corner. Select Reset Safari option. Check all the boxes. Click on Reset.
Apple Safari (Mac)
Go to the Safari menu. Select Reset Safari. Check all the boxes. Click on Reset.
Connect your router to your Netgear WiFi range extender via Ethernet cable. Also, make sure that both the devices are receiving proper power supply Open a web browser and configure your Netgear WiFi range extender.

Once your Netgear WiFi range extender is successfully configured, close the Netgear Genie setup wizard and try to browse again.
