Veteran Indian batsman Suresh Raina said that after the announcement of the dates of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), he is now eagerly waiting to return to the ground again.The 13th season of the IPL will be held in the UAE from 19 September to 8 November.
Raina, the batsman of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings, has posted a picture on his Instagram after practice on the net, in which he wrote, 'Walking on weekends, it is like dreaming when we can play on the field again. Ready With Weekend preparations.
Raina and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant have been practicing together on the nets for some time. Raina was also seen practicing with leg-spinner Piyush Chawla and fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Raina recently posted a photo with Chawla and Shami, in which he was seen practicing with Shami and Chawla.
IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel has confirmed that IPL 2020 will start from 19 September and its final will be played on 8 November. The IPL tournament will run for 51 days and 60 matches will be played in it.
