When it comes to becoming a chiropractor, the first step is to study chiropractic care. In Australia, there are a few universities which offer specialised courses for chiropractic care. You can obtain a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science (or a degree similar) at any one of the following universities:
- Macquarie University (located in Sydney, New South Wales)
- RMIT University (located in Melbourne, Victoria)
- Murdoch University (located in Perth, Western Australia)
After completing a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, you are also required to finish a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic, to help you apply your knowledge to the real world. It is only after finishing both studies that you can register with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and practise as a professional chiropractor.
