The Cockpit Tavern

Nothing to do with flying, alas. Allegedly built on the site of Shakespeare's London home, it was a site for cockfighting. It's not a Tardis, so it's no bigger on the inside. Snug, not likely to have many tourists, plenty of atmosphere. This one is in The City, at 7 St. Andrew's Hill, about 3 minutes' walk from St. Paul's Cathedral. If you're passing by, it's worth a pint, or at least a photo!

I love travel, reading, gardening, the beach, baseball, British television, Swiss chocolate, and life. I'm sure I left many things out:)
