A day trip to Cambridge can be interesting in all seasons. In the spring, summer or fall, a sunny day would be pefect for renting a punt and traveling to Granchester for tea. (It's also an easy 2 mile walk, if you're unsure of your punting skills.) There are good walking tours available at the Tourist Information Centre in town. Be sure to visit King's Chapel as you walk through the different colleges. And since Cambridge is a university town, don't miss visiting a pub or two! Cambridge is a 45 - 60 minute train ride from Kings Cross station. Ticket prices can vary widely, so if you're on a budget, look for an off peak train.

I love travel, reading, gardening, the beach, baseball, British television, Swiss chocolate, and life. I'm sure I left many things out:)
