The functional purpose of solar panels is to generate electricity, and solar collectors are to generate heat. I think that everything is very clear with solar panels (batteries), we use them in order to receive electricity and, as a result, we have the opportunity to charge phones, batteries, illuminate houses and roads completely free of charge.
