There are two reasons I shared this site: 1) With some searching, you can find ideas here for your library maker space that won't cost a lot, or use recycled materials. 2) Having students create their own Instructables can be a great part of the project. Since the Common Core State Standards require students to read a wide variety of informational text, reading some Instructables and then writing their own instructions would give you a Common Core-aligned project for the library. It's a good way to market the relevance of the library and demonstrate your understanding and support of the Common Core. It's up to you if you mention how much fun it is, too!
