Dark circles under the eyes occur when the skin beneath both eyes appears darkened. Many factors can cause this, but it is usually treatable with home remedies, medical interventions, or both.

1. Sound Sleep.
A 2017 study found that people who slept for four hours had more visible dark circles under their eyes than people who slept for eight hours.
