Self-confidence affirmations are positive statements we make to ourselves in order to increase our confidence. They work by countering the automatic negative thoughts that occur when we're feeling down about ourselves. We all have them - "I'm not good enough", "I can't do this", etc. By repeating a positive affirmation, we're essentially telling our brains to replace those negative thoughts with more positive ones. This helps us feel better about ourselves, which in turn increases our confidence levels.
