Time travel and historical fiction, with a fair dash of romance thrown in, Ruby Red is extremely popular with my middle school girls! The two other books in the trilogy just were released in the U.S. recently. This trilogy is smart, beautifully written, and deserves to be promoted in your library. Appropriate for grades 6 and up; boys will mostly steer clear because of the covers.
