This trying year is coming to an end, and while we may not want to undertake a major renovation project on our home or company, it would be wonderful to make some improvements. The trick is to locate the most significant changes with the least amount of work.
The bathroom, of course, is one place where a minor change can have a great influence. We frequently overlook the bathroom's ambiance. But, of all the rooms in your house, the bathroom is where you spend your alone time, getting ready for whatever the day brings. Your mental health and well-being will benefit from having a practical, well-lit bathroom that also encourages tranquility and relaxation.
LET'S TALK ABOUT BATHROOM LIGHTING FIRST.
To be useful, a bathroom requires adequate illumination, which can be difficult to achieve. Sconces, ceiling lights, and even light switches can be difficult to place in small rooms and narrow places. In addition, the bathroom must be able to support a variety of tasks that necessitate various forms of lighting.
A light in the middle of the room, for example, will not give shadow-free task lighting near the mirror. While a sconce over the mirror may give adequate job lighting, it will not provide sufficient ambient lighting in the shower.
Good task lighting combined with ambient light is usually what optimal lighting looks like.
In either case, many lights are required, which may not be feasible in smaller spaces.
