You need to check the position of windows and sunlight entering your bedroom. Then, you need to calculate laying the cot in the right direction.
Are there other items you need to fix in the bedroom? Is it a mirror table, the almirah, or a small dining table, chairs, or a library case full of books? Check the spaces and neatly arrange them.
You can put suitcases, luggage bags under the cot. When you are arranging the items in the bedroom, ensure the items do not touch the wall. The sharp or hard metal rods or wooden corners can leave a mark on the wall.
Do you have a heavy, iron almirah? Then, when you are placing it on the bedroom, ensure you provide a thick rug or wooden planks. Else, the almirah can infuse scratch marks on the floor. When you are moving out of the rented house, you may be asked to pay some charges for removing the scratches on the floor.
Have you kept pot plants in your earlier home? Then, if there is more space in the new home, you can keep more plants. The only factor you have to check is minimal sunlight should be available.
