Here's today's look on the news & rumours going on around football: 1. Carlo Ancelotti has stated he's "100% certain" Cristiano Ronaldo will re-sign for Real Madrid. The striker has 10 goals this season so far. (Source: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/6013835/Cristiano-Ronaldo-wont-be-returning-to-Premier-League.html, SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED) 2. Manchester United, Arsenal, & Chelsea are reported to be interested in signing German midfielder Sami Khedira from Real Madrid. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has stated it is not possible for his side to remain unbeaten for the entire length of the season. (Source: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/oct/19/chelsea-crystal-palace-match-report) 4. Spurs are reported to be gathering up £10 million for Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski for the transfer window in January. (Source: http://www.caughtoffside.com/2014/10/12/exclusive-tottenham-line-up-audacious-10m-january-bid-for-arsenal-striker-lukas-podolski/) Thoughts: 1. Honestly I can't think of a reason why Ronaldo won't resign. He's just won the Champions League and Real will only get better when they buy in January. 2. Khedria would be a good fit at Arsenal & Manchester United. Chelsea don't necessarily need him. Either was I'd expect Real to sell him in order to line up some spending money for themselves in the window. 3. It is impossible. The thought of Chelsea being unbeaten is rubbish, partly because I don't like Chelsea but also because on two teams have ever done it: Arsenal & Preston North End. 4. It's pretty much a given that Podolski will go but I wouldn't be surprised to see Dortmund submit a bid for him. What are your thoughts? Who do you think is most likely to go out of the three: Ronaldo, Khedira, or Podolski?
