What personally you think about "You season 4 part 1"?
At first glance, Joe really seems to be making progress and is careful not to kill anyone else even once.
I think season 3 gave the creators the confidence to do something big in season 4, with the new general idea that 'hunter is hunted' - Joe Goldberg, who has always been charming and cunning, suddenly attains high morals when he becomes a victim of harassment and must act quickly to find the culprit before he goes to jail.
Despite Penn Badgley's consistently stellar performance, the first half of You season 4 contains some of the worst writing the show has ever seen due to many uninteresting characters and a cyclically repetitive whodunit.
London's young and wealthy aristocracy is the subject of the most ridicule in Season 4 of You.
The depiction of these chic and uninteresting Londoners in their writings is neither insightful nor creative. With Kate playing such an ignorant role for Joe, the season not only loses its gripping grip on bringing the season through its darkest times, but it also loses a bunch of perspective.
