I posted a few days ago about how the Australian government was refusing to put climate change on the agenda for the G20 summit. (http://www.vingle.net/posts/583342) Well, with a little bit of persuasion, climate change has been added to the G20 agenda. The G20 agenda will include a significant passage on climate change, as the United States and various other large nations overrode Australia's attempts to keep the issue off the formal agenda. "The United States and Europe led the push to have climate change discussed at the meeting, with Obama using a speech on Saturday to warn that Australia's iconic Great Barrier Reef was under threat." This is great action taken by the US and EU to promptly and firmly stand their ground against this idiotic decision to leave no discussion for climate change.
