Ubuntu: My first impression

I finally got around to trying out Ubuntu this last week and I wanted to share my thoughts with all of you. A little back story: I have used Windows (XP, Vista, 7, and now 8) and had Fedora on one of my laptops. The labs at my college campus had Fedora, so I installed Fedora because I was already exposed to it in class. I'm currently using Ubuntu right now via my pen drive. As it was launching, I knew that I would love the UI. It feels more polished than Fedora and more user friendly. Overall, I love the look and feel of Unity and can definitely see myself enjoying it. (I'm sorry, GNOME) What I really like is that Ubuntu has a larger software library (this I found out with some research) and that it is a bit easier to install software. I'm not a full stack developer, so anything that is easier is better for me. Conclusion: I like it. I'm going to install it on my Fedora laptop and give it a spin. Honestly, I think it's great for Windows users because it's so user friendly. Booting via my pendrive was pretty easy and quick! Check out how to do that here: http://bit.ly/1vvovFT. I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts below in the comments.

I love learning about technology and how it's changing the world.
