One away is all Los Angeles needed to advance to their third MLS Cup Final in four years. Seattle took a 2-0 lead into the half after Evans finished a good move and pass from Dempsey before the striker himself put on on goal that was spilled by LA's Penedo. A good strike from LA in the second half gave them the away goal that they needed to pip Seattle to the final. The 2-1 win for Seattle in the game was their second in three meetings, but it is LA who advanced after the conclusion of play. The game really highlighted how much Seattle missed NEagle & Alonso in the first leg, as Seattle created more play with their passing anchored in the midfield where as in the first leg, LA dominated the game there from start to finish. LA will now host the New England Revolution for the MLS Cup final this weekend.
