[12th-Dec-14] Daily Rumour Mill

Friday! It's finally come and here's the stories lining up the weekend of football: 1. Liverpool are considering a move for Fernando Torres should AC Milan terminate the loan. (Source: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/415068/Liverpool-Fernando-Torres-Chelsea-Brendan-Rodgers) 2. Real Madrid are reported to have beat Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool to the post on signing Marco Reus from Dortmund. (Source: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/415023/Real-Madrid-FINALISING-deal-to-SIGN-Arsenal-Man-Utd-and-Liverpool-target-Marco-Reus) 3. Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is keen to sign City defender Nastasic. (Source: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-citys-matija-nastasic-could-4800477) 4. Roy Keane's exit as Villa #2 was apparently quickened by the fact that he and forward Abonglahor almost came to blows on the training ground. (Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2872154/Roy-Keane-created-poisonous-atmosphere-Aston-Villa-explosive-training-ground-feud-Gabriel-Agbonlahor-final-straw-led-departure.html) 5. Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers insists he is the right man to rebuild Liverpool. (Source: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/dec/12/brendan-rodgers-liverpool-manchester-united) My Thoughts: 1. Would be a terrible move. Torres's career is dnoe for in Europe and he's generally been a terrible striker the past 5 years. 2. Tough loss for the English sides if the reports are true. 3. Would be a solid signing for Inter but I doubt City will surrender him. 4. Well Keane's known for his temper but it is a shame. Abonglahor's been a problem child in the past. 5. He might not be and I think if Liverpool fail to win their next 2 games he'll be gone.
