When To Change Your Chain, Cassette, and Chainrings

Knowing when to change your chain is a vital step in making your components last longer and keeping your bike feeling fresh. You will need to change your chain after about 2000 - 4000 miles, but of course this can vary based on riding conditions and the rider. The video goes over the tell tail signs that your chain, cassette or chainring is wearing. Make sure to watch the video so you can see all the techniques in measuring so you can prevent total drivetrain wearing! You don't want a $20 chain replacement to turn into a $200+ drivetrain replacement!

It's not the rider, it's the bike. Refer to the rules.
