Juve’s Andrea Pirlo is a game-time decision as he looks to recover from a calf injury while Monaco’s Jeremy Toulalan and Ricardo Carvalho are expected to miss the fixture due to injury.
Juventus come into the match on an impressive run, having been unbeaten in their last 11 games at home in competitions in Europe and only once in their last 16 at home in those came competitions. Juventus also come into the game 22 points atop the Italian Serie A, even after their shock defeat last weekend to bottom of the league and bankrupt Parma.
Monaco look to be complete opposites of the Italian juggernauts at the moment. Still locked in a battle with PSG for the Ligue 1 crown, Monaco has only managed 7 goals in 8 games, 3 of which were against Arsenal in their 1st leg of the Round of 16 alone. The principality club has also only conceded 4 goals however, a track record that will need followed if they are to take anything from Juventus here.
Prediction: Juventus are just too good, and should make their first Champions League semi-final since 2003. They won’t however have a lock on the fixture just yet.
Juve 2-0 Monaco
